Ultifresh 3-Ply Mask Has Been Accredited By SGS

In the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, a variety of face masks appear on the market, and someone even took the opportunity to make money by selling uncertified or fake masks. Thus, it is very important to know whether the mask you bought has been tested and certified. Ultifresh is striving to provide our customers with high quality and protective face masks. Our 3-Ply Disposable Mask has already passed a number of rigorous checks and tests, to prove that they are free of toxins and highly effective protection. On 18 Jun 2020, our 3-Ply Disposable Mask is SGS certified and been recognized as Medical Grade Face Mask.  It reaches the maximum protection a mask can have, 99.9% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE).

SGS is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. They are recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity.
Passed 7 main mask-making test: waterproof test, weight test, filtration static test, filtration bacteria test, flammability test, breath-ability test, ear-loop test

According to WHO, medical-grade masks should have at least a 95% droplet filtration system, breathability, and layers of manufactured non-woven materials, such as polypropylene, polyethylene, or cellulose. For Ultifresh™ 3-Ply Mask, its outer layer is made of waterproof non-woven fabric (blue); the middle layer is melt-blown fabric BFE99%; the inner layer is also the non-woven fabric (white). And, all of our masks are 100% produced in an air-tight, dust-free environment.

In terms of functionality, the medical masks must block droplets and particles while at the same time they must also be breathable by allowing air to pass as stated by WHO.

However, please remember that a medical mask can reduce your chance of being infected, but it is insufficient to prevent virus infection, other precautionary measures such as practising hand hygiene and social distancing are vital to prevent the infection spreading further.
