Water scarcity and global textile wastage are primarily due to quick growth, increasing vulnerability & insufficient preparation. The situation has greatly worsen over the years due to the rise of fast fashion and the increased demand in the apparel industry. Till date, over 70% of the world’s population suffers at least a month of water scarcity per annum. Part of the problem derived from the fact that 14.3 million tons of textile goes to waste per year.
Our movement is the key to the solution.
